An Academic subscription is reserved for faculties, official university/college employees, individual researchers and research centers.

Random periodical controls may be performed to ensure that the academic status is valid throughout the entire subscription period.

In order to request an Academic subscription you must introduce yourself via e-mail to support at blendernetwork dot org, providing details on which university/institution you are currently teaching Blender, your main area of focus, and URL to a public page of your university/institution as proof of your training.

The Freelance subscription is for independent artists, animators, developers, consultants and trainers. Along the subscription process for a freelance subscription you will be prompted to provide links to online portfolios, videos, and other media that refers to past and current projects.

If you have a VAT-number or any corresponding code from your country, you can specify it in the subscription form for tax deduction purposes.

Corporate

The corporate account is suitable for small, medium or large production or training services and facilities. Companies providing services related to Blender (distributed online rendering solutions, hardware solutions, etc.) can also benefit from a Corporate membership.
