I am using Blender to help scientists visualize topics in the natural sciences that are difficult or impossible to recreate with two-dimensional, static images. So much of what we observe in nature is in motion, and using computer animation to explain it is a logical development of centuries of scientific illustration.
My scientific background, a Ph.D. in plant biochemistry, has afforded me experience with plants, insects, bacteria, proteins and metabolism. My goal with "Moves like Nature" is to convince more scientists to use animation in their presentations.
I am also experienced in modeling for 3D-printing. You can view my work at www.ontogenie.de, and if you need help with a 3D-printing project, drop me a line.
