My animation career began with Blender back in 2003. At that time I was a highly successful comedian with an accomplished range of achievements including film, television and live stand up. After falling in love with Blender, I studied animation rigorously, published animation tests and released several free rigs to the community. I began to get offers for freelance work and the subsequent journey has enabled me to become a professional animator.
Whilst enrolled at iAnimate I learnt from the best artists at Dreamworks, Blue Sky and Sony. This has been one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. My animation skills increased exponentially and fortified my passion for animation.
Since 2009, I have been privileged to be involved in some really great projects, including several Youtube videos that have received a staggering amount of views (The clip little snowflake is approaching 100 million views). Needless to say my animation has made for some very happy clients.
In 2015 I started my own studio called Moonstring Animation. Through Moonstring Animation I will, mentor new animators, assist other small studios in their projects and lead small teams of artists to create bigger projects.
My connection to Blender is as personal as it is professional. In 2014, I proposed my girlfriend with a flipbook made with blender (a Question). We are now happily married :)
I look forward to creating more with the Blender Community.
